Most venues say they are dog-friendly …then follow up with something like "but….they aren’t permitted in the dining areas". To maintain a peaceful environment for all guests, many premium venues also have policies requesting that dogs are not left unattended in guest bedrooms, to prevent potential damage, noise or distress. This is completely understandable yet problematic for a dog owner who wishes to attend a special event.
