Yes. Paws & Stay operates on a strict Exclusive Use basis with a 1 : 1 focus. We do not use "pack-play." Your dog would enjoy our undivided attention with the entire enrichment area to themselves for every 30 minute session.
What is the 30/90 Rotation™ I keep seeing mentioned?
This is our signature science-led approach to canine welfare. We provide a tailored rhythm of bespoke, 1 : 1 enrichment, targeting all the senses, followed by a transition to quiet recovery in a climate-controlled private suite.
Is the Retreat secure if my dog is a 'jumper'?
Safety is our absolute priority, which is why we ask this specific question on our booking form. If a dog is identified as a 'jumper,' they are immediately assigned a visual safety code on their private suite. This system ensures an instant, visual reminder of our guest's specific needs at all times and before beginning their 1-to-1 enrichment session, we implement our Triple Lock Safety Measure, to provide total security. This rigorous safety measure is also one of the key factors behind operating a “human free” zone with no “pop ins” permitted once intake is complete.
How will I know my dog is having a good time?
We provide digital peace of mind by way of updates during their stay, upon receiving your written consent. You will receive photos of them either enjoying their bespoke enrichment sessions or having a quiet snooze in their private suite. To ensure dog welfare and safety is at its maximum and that guests remain calm with their resting cycles undisturbed, we keep the Retreat as a quiet zone with human interaction for drop-off and collection only. This allows you to enjoy your event knowing that they are relaxing and enjoying their stay.
How do you keep the Retreat clean between rotations?
With 10.5 years of experience within the microbial control industry, our hygiene standards are exemplary. We use specific DEFRA approved contact-time disinfection processes between every rotation to maintain a pristine, bio-secure sanctuary you can trust.
Why don't I see services like Paws & Stay Retreat everywhere?
To put it simply, because it takes real effort. The regulatory criteria to provide legal, on-site care is incredibly high (as it should be).
